North Allegheny Junior Wrestling is happy to support the fastest growing youth sport—girls wrestling. Many tournaments now feature girls only divisions, and girls wrestling was officially sanctioned as a high school sport by the PIAA this year. All girls in the North Allegheny youth program will have their own designated practice space at Franklin Elementary and their own girl’s cut singlet. The youth girls program will also have designated coaches, and will feature instruction from the North Allegheny Girls Varsity Head Coach (Dan Heckert) and multiple varsity girl wrestlers.
